.The Portfolio Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of PM professionals, including management of people and planning. Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of Projects. Must have excellent communication skills to negotiate internally and at senior level. Build strong relationships with sponsors and owners, assist the team to orchestrate and drive the successful & timely completion of efforts to achieve the business goals, including the identification and resolution of risks and issues which impact delivery.**Responsibilities**:- Ensure portfolio complies with CPMC Methodology and PM best practices.- Implement, support and coach the PMs to comply on the model to measure the adherence to area/effort standards based on the Citi Project Management policy requirements according to the OGC PM Office. Provide guidance to business users and senior management about Project and Program Management as well as facilitate, coordinate, and arbitrate cross-functional macro level topics with key stakeholders.- Support the team to drive the successful and timely completion of efforts (project, programs, initiatives) to achieve business goals, including the identification and resolution of risks and issues that impact delivery.- Maintain communication to all stakeholders (including Senior Management) on a timely basis in a clear way.- Support the team to solve scope, time and team allocation problems with his/ her counterparts and team by designing priorities to accomplish more urgent and relevant programs/projects/tasks.- Lead the solution of critical problems including requesting help from experts as it is required.- Manage Efforts Risks proactively throughout all efforts within his/her portfolio- Support the team in the prospecting phase (inception) to define the Scope and Approach of efforts that will pass through the BoW process (Demand Management) and in alignment with the PMO for temporary allocation of PMs. Support and engage actively in the prospecting of efforts based on the demand presented by the OGC PM Office through the Business Case, scope, and approach well defined.- Take ownership, own responsibility for his/her portfolio results delivery being managed by the PMs
