.**Project Buyer**Company Family: Purchasing- North American Headquarters MexicoLocation: Pachuca Plant Mexico**Job Type**: Regular Full Time**Job Introduction**Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier 1 supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking for a strong and motivated individual to fill the position of **Project Buyer** at the Corporate Offices and Manufacturing Facility in Los Reyes Acozac, Tecámac México. The Project Buyer is the "one face to the customer" link to Program Management, which means Program Management has only one contact instead multiple Commodity Managers.The **Project Buyer** at Adler Pelzer will do the base work such as sending out material development and tooling RFQ's related to new program launches and engineering changes and preparing quote comparisons for Commodity Management. The main tasks are to ensure the program needs from purchasing side, in particular, sourcing the best material development and tooling kick off serial supplier for the materials needed in terms of quality/timing/costs while supporting the program needs with sample materials or pre-serial orders.**The following are the major duties and responsibilities of the Project Buyer**:- Send RFQ's for raw material and finished goods for all new programs being quoted- Price Negotiations: Negotiate and source all new business at or below program target for total material cost and supplier tooling- Issue PO's in SAP, order and track to delivery all pre-production materials- Work on actions for continuous improvement > cost savings, alternative materials, price negotiations, etc.- Evaluate and develop new suppliers for key components and raw materials- Attend Project team meeting to gather purchasing needs in terms of material and tooling (Primarily R&D and Program Management teams)- Prepare quote comparison for Commodity Management- Travel may be required up to 25%- This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary_**Qualifications and Skills**- Bachelor's degree in either Business Administration, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement; or equivalent work experience in Purchasing or related field within manufacturing- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain or related field within manufacturing- Advanced English level is required- Relevant experience within the Tier 1 automotive experience is preferred- Excellent skills and experience in price negotiation in a manufacturing environment- Technical skills include purchasing knowledge, technical negotiations, project management- Ability to multi task and adapt to a changing environment in an effort to meet customer needs- Excellent organization, communication and analytical skills- Job changes that demonstrate increasing responsibility and/or additional skills**Some of our Outstanding Benefits**Adler Pelzer offers an excellent compensation and benefits package
