Mission Description: Within the "Human Capital and Social Development" department and the "Social Protection and Decent Work" unit, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the operational and financial management of the project. S/he will also supervise a Project Assistant and coordinate with the Paris-based team.Duties and Responsibilities:Project Management and Coordination:Ensure effective coordination, implementation, and monitoring of activities; ensuring that all activities are running and all deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and in line with EF commitments.Ensure effective and productive mobilisation of the transversal functions of Expertise France.Coordinate with the Paris office.Operational and Financial Management:Supervise the operational, technical, and administrative management of deliverables (deadlines, key milestones, technical content, budget, etc.).Prepare monthly operational and financial reporting to the Project Manager at Expertise France HQ.Manage the project's local bank account and/or cash account, and prepare monthly reporting.Ensure proper application of EF tools and procedures for effective management of technical and financial aspects of the program.Technical Support:Provide support with the research of information and documentation related to the project's objectives.Support elaboration of study visits planning.Lead the recruitment of the team of experts; drafting of terms of reference for expert missions.Coordinate organisation of experts' work.Communication:Co-define and implement the project's communication plan.Deploy communications activities linked to the Brussels agenda and liaise with EU MS authorities.Monitoring and Evaluation:Implement and follow-up of the project's monitoring and evaluation plan.Draft the project's logical framework (LF) and follow-up on LF indicators.Supervise the final evaluation of the project.Administrative Management:Supervise Project Assistant in preparing contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures.Support financial aspects of the launch of calls for proposals.Logistical Organisation and Event Planning:Plan high-level events with the support of the project assistant.Required Profile:Professional experience: 3-5 years in project management and/or international cooperation.Knowledge of Expertise France processes and procedures is an asset.University Degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Health, International Cooperation, or other relevant diplomas.Proven ability to coordinate a project with ambitious indicators and lead a team of consultants/experts.Excellent command of Spanish and English, both oral and written; French is a plus.The position is available from November 1, 2023, based in Ciudad de Mexico with missions expected in other states.#J-18808-Ljbffr
