Job Summary
IT Controller defines the cost strategy for IT: sets the relationship with Finance (local and regional) & Procurement, negotiate internally and externally to achieve IT financial targets. This individual will assist IT leaders in managing their respective P&L's with regards to spending, planning, and development of supplier relationships critical to their respective lines of business
Accountabilities
- Coordinates finance month closure / reporting: Generates accruals, review budget difference vs actuals with financial planning, review vendor Purchase Orders (PO) vs Plan, review Goods Receivables (GR's) with IT BRM and PM.
- Coordinates with regional IT Planning monthly expense and regional IT cost
- Coordinates IT AOP Plan in conjunction with IT Leaders and IT Management Team.
- Coordinates and give track of IT Capex plans and expense.
- Coordinates Telecom expense: month closure expense by Cost Center and Account as well as vendor payment with American Express Corporate Card
- Coordinates payments for International Invoice
- Coordinates Vendor Management Supervisor & 3rd party support.
- Assists IT leaders to gain understanding of financial cost of projects and respective expense.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of Finance controlling
- 2+ Budgeting and Forecasting
- Preferable Vendor Management experience
- Analytic Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance / Administration required, MBA should be a plus
- Record of delivering significant and sustainable cost reductions through effective implementation of strategies.
- Good (external and internal) relationship management and cross-functional leadership skills, understanding of best-practice budget controlling methodology and a demonstrated track record of working ethically to achieve excellent outcomes.
