**Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities)**:
- Lead team in understanding and executing Voice-of-the-Customer
- Lead programs with a cross functional team in accordance with the Aptiv Enterprise Operating System (EOS)
- Track and report program status at multiple internal gates and external customer meetings
- Ensure all projects are flawlessly launched and risk mitigation actions are tracked to completion
- Ensure projects are kept within the approved budget while properly forecasting capital spending
- Ensure project timing is met as defined by customers (both internal and external)
- Manage program risk activities and escalate issues as required Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements
**Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves)**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent technical field.
- 3+ years' experience in project/program management or equivalent field.
- 3+ years of experience in the use of product life cycle and risk management tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.)
- Previous leadership experience within Project/Program Management, Product Engineering Project Lead, Mfg Engineering Project Lead
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
- Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
- Resourcefully innovative and adapts in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently Strong presence, poise and persuasiveness to establish a high level of credibility quickly
**Your Preferred Background (i.e. Nice to Haves)**:
- Master's degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Project
- Previous experience with engineering and manufacturing teams - products include automotive grade PCBAs, Injection Molding, Terminals etc.
- Previous experience with direct customer interface customer and leading team support for project requests
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn continuously, clearly establish expectations and hold others accountable for achieving results
