Be part of a highly specialized SRE team that works in collaboration with management, professional services, support, and vendors**The Opportunity**:- Analyze customer requirements, facilitate, and deliver planning to customers and the engineering team.- Effectively collaborate with stakeholders- Build and maintain the confidence of colleagues and customers.- Ensuring that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery.- Taking accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand.- Maintain current knowledge of the entire VMware product line.- Drive customer upgrades, adoption, consumption, retention, and expansion- Work without close supervision and with a proactive, goal-oriented attitude.- Define, adopt, and maintain processes, systems management concepts, and standards to be used in day-to-day activities- Develop and track detailed service plans, schedules, dependencies, and critical paths Secure and assign resources per SRE service deliverables- Clearly communicate with customers and upper management any risk areas; come up with risk mitigation plans- Work outside business hours if required- Cover a 24/7 rotational shift pattern if required.This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position.
