Responsibilities Oversee and plan all aspects of purchasing from pre-bid to closeout.
Represent company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers, subcontractors and professional service providers.
Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and/or estimating materials, equipment, subcontract and professional services.
Responsible for projections, financial planning, expediting, delivery schedules and project purchasing reporting.
Oversee the development and review of all procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
Implement and oversee project mobilization activities including office set-up, site general arrangement, etc.
Oversee project support such as site security, recycling, temporary fencing, jobsite signage, dumpsters, trailer set up, etc.
Work with the material management department to ensure proper material receiving and control.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent degree.
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing EPC projects in the construction industry or experience as a Project Procurement Manager in the Oil, Gas & Chemicals business with a proven track record of successfully executed projects.
Knowledge of equipment and materials common in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization, SAP experience is a plus.
Detail-oriented, flexible and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives.
Fluency in English and/or Spanish required Willingness to travel to project sites, potential international travel.
