- Join our team as Purchasing Assistant. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing commercial decisions in Purchasing IT tools such as PILUM, SAP, etc.
- Managing the release of purchase orders, preparing price agreements/contracts, and overseeing the signature process using tools like PILUM, DCM, etc.
- Effectively managing supplier capacity and tooling.
- Providing support for invoice verification and tracking of unclear invoices
- Assisting Request for Quotation Containers (RFQC's).
- Assisting analysis of competitive price levels, secure high-quality products, and maintain reliable deliveries from suppliers.
- Support commercial negotiations with suppliers, collaborating closely with Commercial Purchasing and Project Purchasing teams.
- Assist with the selection of suppliers and negotiate favorable purchase conditions.
**Qualifications**- Education: Completed university degree in fields such as industrial engineering, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience and Expertise: First experience in Purchasing, experience in purchasing or related purchasing functions is an advantage, technical understanding, experience in an intercultural context, SAP user knowledge, proficient with common MS Office tools.
- Personality and Work Approach: You are an analytical and reliable team player with high degree of initiative and entrepreneurial thinking; your strengths include ability to work independent, proactive and target-oriented approach in negotiations; You have a structured and diplomatic way of working with intercultural social competence; willingness to travel worldwide completes your profile.
- Languages: Business fluent written and spoken English, basic understanding of the German language is a plus.
