._**We are currently looking for a Purchasing & Sourcing Representative!**_In this role, you are responsible for managing and executing all daily replenishment for assigned suppliers and/or product groups. In addition to replenishment processing, this role will involve evaluation of supplier performance, direct interaction with suppliers and decision-making regarding inventory levels and buying strategy The personnel will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency while operating within the Production and Accounting teams. Aside from being a manufacturing and production company we are now entering merging & business acquisitions from different product lines & ventures as we expect to grow our brand depth significantly on the incoming fiscal year.**Responsibilities**:- Updates, processes, and approves procurement records in a timely manner as directed.- Efficiently conducts Request for Proposals (RFPs), negotiates, and executes contracts independently, and supports internal business partners on assigned procurement activities.- Fostering positive, effective relationships with designated suppliers- Staying apprised of all changes occurring with designated suppliers. Including but not limited to: Price changes, product launches, product obsolescence, contact changes.- Also updating said changes in company ERP system as well as communicating to all appropriate parties- Collaboration with Production Manager to ensure demand is met efficiently and accurately- Daily intradepartmental interaction to ensure all department tasks are covered and best practices are maintained- Utilize supplier portals and other tools for order processing as well as gathering critical information pertaining to pricing, delivery, and technical tools- Share observations with department Supervisory, Director and Operations analysts to help foster continuous improvement- Adhering to purchasing policies, processes and procedures- Participate in KPI review tied to supplier performance.
