We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as **Purchasing Supervisor, **based in E- Systems Div Office
- CC30, **Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua**_ _(E-Systems Division).
As a member of the E-Systems purchasing team, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for supporting global purchasing initiatives as it pertains to the North American region. You'll work with global cross functional teams and suppliers to implement cost savings opportunities, ensure cost effective procurement and delivery of material and service to support plant and customer requirements while executing commodity strategies and supply contracts.
**Your Task will be**
- Deliver Total Landed Cost Improvements while pursuing specific targets
- Supplier negotiation
- Long term agreements with suppliers
- Support and execute global sourcing strategies
- Ensure coordination of purchasing initiatives with all regions
- Build and maintain relationships, both internal and with suppliers, which enhance our ability to deliver savings
- Support operational targets and inventory management actions
**To be successful in this role you will need**:
- Technical understanding of products used on wire harness manufacturing (Wire, Protections, Tooled Parts, T&Cs)
- Knowledge in Understanding of purchasing commodity management and Strong negotiation capabilities
- Education: BS Degree in related field
- Experience: 5 years of experience on Purchasing or similar roles in manufacturing industry, automotive industry desirable
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish-English)
- Analytical, Communications and Organizational skills. #LI-LM1
