We are seeking a Quality Engineer with knowledge in the use of specifications, charts, and adjustable measuring instruments that require some interpretation. Knowledge of ISO and ASTM standards, as well as Six Sigma Black Belt certification, is essential.
**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish and uphold a Quality Management System (QMS) organization wide.
- Understand and display international specifications and internal specs that help to get the process in control.
- Administrate suppliers' documentation, health and safety documentation control.
- Develop and implement process controls to ensure product quality.
- Follow the quality indicators in the process to minimize the risk of nonconforming material.
- Perform daily quality and safety audits.
- Conduct regular and precise testing to minimize non-conformities and customer complaints.
- Ensure inspection and calibration of testing devices.
- Create and follow the flow diagram and identify daily opportunities to improve the process.
- Create and update quality-related documents and control plans.
- Participate in internal audits and generate technical reports.
- Implement 5S principles in the quality laboratory for efficient organization.
- Collaborate on calibration schedules and report preparation based on data analysis.
- Improve testing methods for production floor processes and materials.
- Collaborate with teams to implement effective quality planning tools.
- Provide training on quality control procedures to production staff.
- Manage the supplier contact and evaluation in Rod and supplies entrance.
- Manage non-conforming materials and conduct inspections.
- Conduct capability studies and establish process control plans.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to help the plant manager in his administration.
Schedule: Monday to Sunday ( full availability - one day off per week)
