**Position Title: Quality Engineer**
**Reports to: Quality Manager**
As a **Quality Engineer**, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our product/service quality standards. You will lead quality initiatives, drive process enhancements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve our quality objectives.

**Quality Assurance Leadership**
- Provide leadership and expertise in quality assurance processes, methods, and tools.
- Lead and mentor the quality engineering team, providing guidance and coaching.
- Drive a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
**Quality Planning and Strategy**:
- Develop and execute comprehensive quality plans and strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Collaborate with management to define quality objectives, targets, and KPIs.
- Identify and prioritize areas for quality improvement and process optimization.
- Establish and implement quality metrics and reporting mechanisms.
**Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving**:
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and non-conformities.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address identified problems.
- Utilize quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma) to resolve issues.
- Implement robust and sustainable solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
**Quality System Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with quality management system standards e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 & VDA (desirable).
- Participate in internal and external audits and maintain audit readiness.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure product/service compliance.
- Support the development and maintenance of quality policies and procedures.
**Process Improvement and Optimization**:
- Lead and participate in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Implement statistical process control (SPC) and quality control measures.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digitization in quality processes.
- Drive Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes.
