**Job Description Summary**
Supervises a team, ensuring the team meets plant and departmental goals and that quality conforms to all regulations, instructions, and standards.Fosters an environment that encourages continuous teamwork, and works to improve quality technical processes. Recommends modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.Synthesizes and organizes suggestions for improvements; submits suggestions to management.
- Accomplishes quality work by orienting, training, assigning, and coaching employees.
- Meets quality work standards by enforcing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
- Controls product quality inspection actions by enforcing manuals, resources, and web sites.
- Provides management planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing product quality results data and trends.
- Contributes to quality department and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
- All other duties as assigned.
