The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing investigation and root cause analysis of product failures. Works closely with various Engineering functions (Reliability, Design, Manufacturing, etc) in a closed-loop, corrective-action process to improve product quality and reliability performance.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for working with cross-functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer's requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE's business needs.Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due to customer (internal-external) complaints.Define, design, develop and implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures.Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of new products, PPAP.Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions.Participates in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements.Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and submission.Perform weekly, monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions with involved areas.Defines SPC to manufacturing processes and monitors weekly and monthly performance, implementing countermeasures.Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, and Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC, and LEAN tools.SKILLS:Experience in Electronics Industry preferable.Experience in Automotive Industry and/or Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).Bachelor's degree (Manufacturing, Electronic Engineering).Six Sigma Certification preferable.3+ years' experience in manufacturing is preferred.3+ years in quality system maintenance.English proficiency 85%.LEAN Manufacturing tools.Excellent computer skills (Statistical Software, Office –Excel-, etc).#J-18808-Ljbffr
