**Quality Intern (Lean Challenge - Summer Program)**:

Gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement and learn by doing tasks as directed to support ABB operations and enhance personal education/employment opportunities. Lean Challenge is a local and international competition where university students develop Continuous Improvement Projects based on methodology and principles of Quality Wins and Lean Manufacturing.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Review materials that require inspection upon arrival from the Warehouse, and update the parameters in SAP that determine whether or not they should be inspected.
- Implement records for these inspections and document critical quality.
- Update "Inspection Yes" list (Materials that require inspection).
- Determine inspection criteria.
- Develop database for measurement records.
- Document process to add or remove materials "Inspection Yes"
**Your background**:
- Active student from the sixth semester of Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or similar.
- Use of Microsoft Excel and Power Point at an intermediate level.
- Theoretical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Quality standards
- Use of statistical software such as Minitab and reading plans is desirable.
- Advanced level of English is desirable.
