.Job ID: 32693- Location: Tlajomulco, MXPEP Hardware Engineer is responsible for the design of an Engine Control Unit in series production phase.The HW Engineer will participate in the impact analysis of the design implementing the integration, verification and validation of the hardware (Electrical/electronic circuits) based on customer & suppliers change requests in order to keep the product up to date and guarantee the stable series production of the Vitesco products. HW Engineer also provides technical support to the customer and production plants for trobleshooting of the units as needed.**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**- Analyze impact on Electrical design to keep it up to date.- Specify Electrical verification and qualification for products.- Support product qualification during Electrical Engineering tests.- Update and release Electrical series production design.- Update Electrical design & perform design reviews.- Verify Electrical design.- Support sourcing/introductions of Electrical components.**ADDITIONAL/SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Participate on Worst Case Analysis activities.- Provide results and analysis to HW leads.- Performs multiple tasks and works independently on new or complex assignments.- Analysis, diagnostic and feedback to warranty customer returns.- Provide inputs and alternatives to solve urgent and complex problems.- Participate on customer meetings.- Drive or coordinate activities for specific technical topics.- Participate on the engineering strategies.**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:- Bachelor's on Electronic Engineer or similar.- Some experience as Hardware Engineer (1-3 years).- English Intermediate (Fluent conversation and good writing skills).- Use of laboratory equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, Function Signal Generator, etc.).- Proactive & Teamwork skills.- Willing to learn.**REQUIERED KNOWLEDGE**:- Strong Knowledge on Analog and Power Electronics circuit analysis.- Basic Knowledge on Digital Electronics.- Basic Knowledge on components thermal management.- Intermediate Knowledge on Electronics development suites (MathCAD, Orcad PSPICE, Zuken or similar).**PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE (+ OPTIONAL)**:- Master Degree on Electronics or Power electronics.- Knowledge on EMC design guidelines and troubleshooting.- Experience on Automotive Industry.- Experience on analyzing results of Electrical Tests.- Experience on customer interfacing.- Basic Knowledge on PCB and layout design.- Reporting and communicating skills.- Strong Knowledge on Microsoft Office suite (Intermediate-advanced Excel, Power point).**Working Time**: Full time**Your Contact Partner**: JESSICA PAOLA NAVARROVitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art powertrain technologies for sustainable mobility.
