**The Opportunity**:
Lead and manage the Sector Innovation agenda for Classical Biscuits through the implementation of Processes and Technologies that guarantee the product design reproducibility and contribute to deliver a flawless execution in the AOP Initiatives for LatAm Sector and Hispanic Business Unit. Support the sector SDD and productivity agendas. Additionally, this role is responsible of the Mold Engineering Department providing solutions across categories delivering designs for new product development, quality & productivity agendas, ensuring designing and performance while still transforming the area implementing strategies and technologies, according to market needs, that allows innovate, improve, and strengthen our biscuits brands., Security)
**Your Impact**:
As **R&D **Region **Engineering Manager** **your scope would consist:
- Lead the scale up and commissioning stage for new product initiatives, according to the Annual Strategic Plan in Mexico & LATAM for the following technologies and platforms:
- Wire Cut & Rotary Classic Platform.
- Mold Designing across biscuits technologies.
- Lead and deploys the commissioning process for Classical new products in LatAm Region and its alignment with the TSG to guarantee successful innovations as well as consistent and replicable processes in Plants.
- Support Innovation and Productivity agendas in LatAm Region providing key inputs to evaluate the technical feasibility, investment requirements, budget management, to market timing and any potential manufacturing risks since Mold Designing POV.
- Define (Center Lines) and participate in the selection and purchasing of new equipment for Innovation, upgrade or line replacement verifying those new capabilities complies with process and product specifications.
- Coordinate and ensure the compliance of all the process and technology documentation that must be deliver and loaded in the SAP/PLM and Accolade systems.
- Delineating training plans to promote and provide technical and management skills for collaborators development.
- Research of updated processes and technologies in the market for mold designing, establishing communication with vendors to provide technical solutions to achieve differentiated product innovation.
- As a R&D Biscuits and Grains Technology expert, provides technical support for quality, capex integration, product relocation and process optimization across LatAm Operations and HBU.
Qualifications:

**Education**
- Bachelor or Engineering focused on Food Sciences / Bio / Chemistry / Mechanical.
**Experience**
- Experience: +3 years in a similar role.
- Personal Profile: Teamwork, analytical thinking, decision taking, innovative and creative, proactive, affinity to scientific ideas, flexible, and adaptable.
- Language skills: Fluent Spanish and English.
- Travel and Relocation: Willing to travel / Relocation availability is desirable.
