**EHS Technician****Years of Experience: 2+ Years****Overview**:Safety Technician will support and drive safety efforts and the client's culture of safety, support safety compliance, accountability, and administer a safety management system.**Responsibilities**:- Operate as an experienced assistant to an Health, Safety, & Environmental- Assist higher level Health, Safety, & Environmental practices policies and procedures staff in conducting surveys, evaluations, inspections, and investigations of incidents and activities- Gather data as directed by supervisor to be used to monitor and track Health, Safety, & Environmental practices policies and procedures standards, programs and goals- Other duties as assigned**Requirements**:- 2+ years direct experience in a safety role- Environmental and health experience- Knowledge of safety and health rules, regulations and OSHA standards- Safety experience in a heavy industrial environment- Experience with safety management systems- Commitment to safety in all job aspects- Ability to take direction and drive both policy and cultural safety standards- Comfortable speaking in front of groups- Strong leadership skills- Strong computer skills- Knowledge of governmental norms- Knowledge of behavioral based safety programs
