**Raw Materials Planner****About the job**RHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic Raw Materials Planner.This role will be part of the North America Planning Team, to ensure that all North America plants are kept running with adequate stocks of raw material.**The Raw Materials Planner's tasks will include**:- Manage raw materials supply that are needed in US and Mexico Plants to manufacture products using MRP and consumption forecast based on global production plan.- Manage Raw Materials Purchase Requisitions which are converted in Purchase Orders sent to vendors.- Monitor and understand the life cycle of materials from order to consumption- Identify, resolve, and forecast problems and potential solutions regarding raw material supply.- Observe production and consumption trends at the plants to maintain inventory levels, ensuring the consistent and adequate volume of raw materials is always available to keep a manufacturing line operating.- Coordinate production goals with plant management, procurement, transportation, R&D.- Review and interpret bills of material to be able to determine raw materials demand based on product composition.- Plan material to attain company metrics like inventory target, days on hand, calculation of right amount of safety stocks for each RM.- Manage monthly recipe & blend variance for NAM plants with a 12-month horizon.- Analyze recipe & Blend variances of raw materials providing feedback and countermeasures.- Work closely with regional R&D to get approval for new raw materials as well as implement different alternatives in recipes.**About you**Do you have:- Proficient experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position- Experience working in a multinational environment- Fluent in English in addition to Spanish- SAP expert in the following modules: Materials Management, Production Planning- In-depth knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems.- Thorough understanding of MRP logic and functionality.- Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.- Ability to access, interpret and compare bills of materials.- Advanced use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.- Keep detailed records, generate, and interpret reports.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Analytical mind with outstanding problem-solving abilities.- Adaptable to a changing environment.- Crises management in exceptional situations.**We Offer**:- **Amazing benefits!
