SummaryThe Opportunity Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Regional Director of Marketing to join our Inclusive Collection Business Unit.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of All Inclusive Resorts in generating profitable revenue to increase RevPAR, market share, and brand awareness by fully leveraging Hyatt marketing programs at the resort level.
The primary mission of the Regional Director of Marketing, (HIC Region) is to liaise with hotel owners within Hyatt's portfolio of managed hotels and provide marketing support and guidance, developing and implementing turnkey marketing solutions that drive hotel business performance.
Additionally this role provides marketing expertise that addresses individual hotel business objectives and solves revenue challenges.
Coordination with Operations, Sales and Revenue Management is a key to achieving these objectives.
The Regional Director of Marketing, (HIC Region) also aids the development team by providing the primary marketing planning and support for new hotels including new builds, acquisitions and newly renovated properties.
Qualifications· At least 8 years' experience in Marketing and Communications in a Sr.
Manager or Director position (hospitality industry experience essential).
· Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies for individual hotels, including ROI / KPI metrics.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with external and internal contacts (i.e.
Ownership, General Manager, Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Leaders, Regional Team, Media Representatives, Public Relations firms).
· Strong presentation and communications skills, proficiency with programs such as, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Power Point, and Excel.
· Ability to deliver strong print and collateral marketing materials.
· Ability to work proficiently quickly in a high-pressure & fast paced environment.
· Exceptional with details and follow up.
· Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
