Read more about our Statement of Faith and our Christian Mission.**What is the opportunity?**Water Mission's Regional Human Resources (HR) Manager, Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) will work in collaboration with the International HR Director and Latin American and Caribbean Regional Director to lead the strategic implementation of all human resource programs and services across Water Mission's Haiti, Honduras, Peru, and Mexico country programs. This individual will have the opportunity to directly manage and lead HR field staff to ensure excellent HR administration and will develop, implement, and monitor standards and compliance in all areas of HR. This is a full-time position that will work remotely from a home office located in the Latin America or Caribbean region (Honduras, Mexico, or Peru preferred). Location in a southern US state may also be considered. The position will report to the International Human Resources Director based in the USA. Key responsibilities include:**Leadership**- Maintain a strong Christian witness and model servant leadership to colleagues, partners, the communities we serve, and the public.- Directly supervise HR field staff on day-to-day HR tasks including, but not limited to, hiring, onboarding, separation/termination, performance management, recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and organizational policy.- Perform supervisory duties including, but not limited to, overseeing staff training and development, prioritizing project requests, managing workloads and deadlines, setting goals, meeting schedules and milestones, conducting performance reviews, and assisting in the recruiting and hiring of direct reports.- Communicate effectively with a diverse, multi-cultural group of managers and staff to achieve organizational objectives.- Foster a culture of collaboration and engagement to drive team and ministry goals.- Provide relevant reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to Water Mission HR leadership.- Work to improve systems and processes to better serve staff.**HR Management** and Compliance**- Ensure all Water Mission HR goals and milestones are met within Latin America and the Caribbean while adhering to approved budgets
