Located in our Santa Fe office, you will be managing sales and relationships across a defined geographic area with one or multiple major/strategic accounts or customers. Maintains current business and expands relationships to seek new revenues.You will be collaborating to communicate the key value propositions of Gates solutions to the many industries we serve. From market analysis and segmentation to pricing and channel management, our sales team bring our brand promise to life.**Key responsibilities**:- Strategize and analyze target market trends and prospect list to better target viable customers and provide efficient, on-demand support.- Implement distribution strategies to accelerate growth of new and additional products and/or new markets.- Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments within defined target markets.- Build and maintain relationship management with current and prospect customers- Maintain an effective communication path with the customer to ensure sales opportunities for products.- Make regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.- Develop and maintain long - and short-range sales and marketing plans.- Maintain awareness of strategic plans and procedures to coordinate market plans.- Monitor and communicate sales activity to contribute to product and service planning.- Provide top-quality, Gates customer service for all clients and prospects.- Implement distribution strategies to accelerate growth of new and additional products and/or new markets.- Monitor competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to address competition.**ABOUT YOU**- 5 - 7 of years of sales experience or equivalent industry experience.- College degree.- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services- Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations- May lead functional teams or projects- Progression to this level is restricted on the basis of business requirements- May lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
