Purpose Statement: Key liaison between operations, suppliers, and the customer, ensuring that overall specifications, quality/regulatory requirements, and expectations are met for all purchased products.Key Job Accountabilities:- Provide management and execution of Quality-related elements of supplier management activities through inclusive of; incoming inspection processes, Non-Conforming material, supplier qualification, supplier monitoring, through Plexus Sites.- Planning and execution of supplier audit and corrective action activities related to both initial qualification and on-going management of suppliers' quality execution capabilities.- Support supplier improvement through monitoring and reporting of supplier quality metrics and performance.- Support product introduction and transfer activities, including part-qualification with suppliers.- Support to Plexus sites on part problem resolution through all phases of operations.Additional Accountabilities:- Participates in customer-facing supplier quality activities.- Support overall Plexus sites and Quality Management System through metrics, auditing, etc.- Support Sourcing/Materials on alternative supplier selection.- Mentor and support personnel Sites on supplier quality activities and process effectiveness.- Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 20-30%).- Additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience Qualifications:- A minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline is required.- Five (5) years of related experience is required to level II- ASQ Certification preferred (CQA, CSQP and CMQOE to Sr. Level).- Broad understanding of materials, manufacturing and servicing technologies and processes.- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications:- Plexus Leadership Competencies as applicable to the level.- Advanced decision-making and problem solving skills required.- Advanced industry/manufacturing knowledge is preferred.- Advanced Statistical analysis knowledge is preferred.- General office equipment and materials.Work Environment:- The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
