**Who we're looking for**:
We are seeking a skilled **Data Analytics Engineer** to lead performance analysis and drive initiatives that shape our data strategy and empower decision-making across the company. You will be responsible for developing data models, building and maintaining data pipelines, and conducting advanced data analysis to support product management, analytics, and company-wide goals. This role will also involve overseeing the Analytics and Testing department, managing team members and external support to ensure high-impact tasks are completed on time, documented comprehensively, and insights are distributed promptly.
**As a Data Analytics Engineer, your duties will include**:
Data Engineering & Modeling:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes using tools like Stitch, dbt, and Google Cloud Functions.
- Develop scalable data models and maintain our data warehouse in Google BigQuery to support analytics and business intelligence.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across different systems and platforms.
Data Analysis & Strategy:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
- Build and maintain key business and operational dashboards to evaluate performance while highlighting insights & opportunities using BI tools like Looker Studio and Metorik.
- Modify current and create new effective strategies to collect data, analyze information, conduct research, and implement analytics solutions.
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to drive growth and product improvements.
Statistical Modeling & Machine Learning:
- Build and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Utilize Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and model building.
- Implement AI-driven processes to enhance our offerings and internal processes.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the Analytics, Marketing, and Development Teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Automate reporting and data analysis tasks using tools like Zapier and Google Tag Manager.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
Tool Management:
- Manage and optimize the use of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), VWO, Microsoft Clarity, and others.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in data analytics, engineering, and AI to continuously improve our data strategy.
**You'll thrive in this role if you have**:
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience with:
- Python for data analysis and statistical modeling;
- SQL for data definition, manipulation, and querying;
- data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Google BigQuery);
- ETL tools like Stitch and dbt;
- BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio);
- Google Analytics (GA4), VWO, Google Tag Manager, and automation tools (Zapier).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and projections is a plus.
- Strong ability to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities, proven at getting things done in a fast-paced dynamic & growing environment;
- Have a Bachelor's degree or higher;
- Enjoy working in a remote environment.
**Additional Information**:
- This role is full-time, requiring 35-40 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours or responsibilities depending on performance and additional skills.
- It is a fully remote contract position, with Independent Contractors responsible for their taxes and benefits.
- Each applicant is required to successfully complete a paid Trial Period before transitioning to this role.
