**Job Title**: Sales Coordinator
**Position Summary**:
The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the sales operations team by assisting manufacturer's sales representatives, managing quotes, defining and tracking sales opportunities in the ERP system, and executing strategic pricing and demand forecasting plans as directed by upper management. This role is critical to ensuring a streamlined sales process, optimal customer service, and the alignment of sales efforts with business goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Support**: Provide support to manufacturer's sales reps by preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries.
- **Opportunity Management**: Define, track, and follow up on sales opportunities within the ERP system, ensuring all relevant data is current and accurate to facilitate effective forecasting and reporting.
- **Strategy Execution**: Implement pricing and demand forecasting strategies as defined by upper management, working closely with sales teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure consistent messaging, streamline communication, and facilitate smooth handoffs between departments.
- **Reporting and Analysis**: Generate and analyze sales reports to provide insights into sales trends, customer demand, and performance against targets. Recommend adjustments to optimize sales efforts.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction within the sales support function.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support, sales coordination, or similar role.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and strong understanding of sales and forecasting processes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tracking tools.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
