As a member of the property Executive Committee.
the Director of Sales and Marketing is a highly visible role with exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership.
Hyatt Regency Mexico City's Director of Sales and Marketing manages the Human and Material Resources of the Sales and Marketing area to achieve the assigned sales quota according to the policies, procedures, and standards established by Hyatt International.
**Financial Responsibilities**:
1.
Will know the annual budget of the Sales area, as well as the budget of the Commercial Account area.
2.
Know the monthly budget of the Sales and Corporate Account areas.
3.
Supervise and follow up on each of the negotiations established in order to achieve the annual budget assigned.
4.
Keep informed of the Rate360 report.
5.
Keep informed and analyze RTS results on a monthly basis.
6.
Analyze and be aware of the "Rate Grid" tariff established by the Sales Department.
7.
Analyze internal reports of occupancy and average daily rate in order to have information that facilitates the sale at the time of negotiating rates and spaces.
8.
Maintain or increase the annual production volume of captive customers.
9.
Contribute to the achievement of the annual budget for the entire sales area.
**Operational Responsibilities**:
1. will participate in the development of the action plan in conjunction with Sales and Marketing Management to reach the established objectives of the entire area.
2.
Develop and execute the quarterly action plan for the Commercial Account area.
3.
Prepare reports of compliance and results of the quarterly plan.
4.
Will supervise and comply with the objectives of the Sales Strategy Plan.
5.
Develop and review corporate rate agreements according to the productivity potential of each client, based on the annual Grid of rates and room night production tables.
6.
Will strengthen the business relationship with clients through personalized attention to TOP account contacts.
7.
Will conduct Public Relations activities with decision makers with the different commercial firms and potential clients in order to translate their relationships into sales.
8.
Promote and represent the hotel in fairs, and exhibitions in Mexico City, in the interior of the Republic, and abroad.

Facilitate and support executives in tours of the hotel so that clients can get to know the facilities, and services and promote sales.

Will make presentations of the hotel services during visits with clients.
9.
Organize your agenda and supervise the executives' weekly schedule with appointments in order to meet the quota of visits assigned weekly.
10.
Provide information regarding rooms, banquets, restaurants, and services offered by the Hotel.
11.
Follow up and comply with the annual travel calendar.
12.
Will supervise the follow-up of the reports of the competition, to contribute to achieving the competitiveness of the hotel.
13.
Supervise the response to the Qualifiers in the time required.
14.
Oversee and provide timely response and follow-up to Request For Proposal (RPP) that agree to annual corporate rate negotiations.
15. Review production reports for incentives on a monthly basis and report to management on a quarterly basis.
16.
Constantly train the personnel under his charge.
17.
Guide and direct the work performed by the executives.
**Qualifications**:
Hard Skills
- 6 or more years of progressive hotel Sales & Marketing experience in complex hospitality operations in a senior-level role
- 3 years of previous experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing of a Full-Service hotel
- 4-year Hospitality, Sales, Administration, or similar degree required
- Clear concise written and verbal (fluent) communication skills in English as well as the local language to meet business needs.
Strong presentation skills are required coupled with maintaining strong owner relations.
