About the Role Trimble is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to develop and execute automated and manual tests to ensure product quality. The SDET responsibilities include test case development, manual testing, designing and implementing automated UI / API tests for web and API first backend applications. The responsibilities will also include monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. Co ordinate with your Development and SRE team and complete testing on time, report bugs and track them to closure
Take part in team standups, product review meetings, weekly meetings
Collaborate with stakeholders for troubleshooting product issues
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
3+ years of experience in Automation testing
Understanding of REST APIs and backend services
Hands on experience in setting up CI, test report generation with any of the tools like Allure, Extent reports, Zephyr, etc.
Good experience in any of the automation testing frameworks like selenium
Ability to write and execute Database queries (SQL / NoSQL)
Prior knowledge in IoT based systems is a plus
Exposure to at least one cloud provider platform (AWS/Azure) is a plus
Fluency in English
