Factorial is seeking a talented and experienced SecOps Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in securing our systems and infrastructure. This position is remote or hybrid (based in Barcelona).
As a SecOps Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our Security Operations Team, responsible for safeguarding our systems and data. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure our security posture remains robust and up-to-date. Your role will involve monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing security measures and best practices.
The Role: Continuously monitor security alerts and incidents, providing timely and effective responses.Develop and manage security alerts to ensure accurate detection and swift action.Conduct thorough incident response, ensuring quick and efficient mitigation of security threats.Perform detailed security investigations to identify root causes and impacts.Gather and analyze threat intelligence to stay ahead of potential security risks.Implement and manage security tools and technologies.Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices across the organization.Develop, maintain, and regularly update incident response plans and procedures.Provide security awareness training to staff to ensure company-wide vigilance and compliance.The annual salary range for this position is €40,000 to €50,000 + 7% variable + 10% ESOP.
Your Profile: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience in a similar SecOps or similar role (Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, DevSecOps...)Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong understanding of Cyberattacks and Threat Actor Tactics Techniques and Procedures.Experience using and managing EDR and SIEM solutions.Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.Experience with Datadog is a plus.Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.We care about people and offer many benefits for employees:
