Further, we work alongside specialists in data science, quantitative seismic interpretation, satellite mapping, reservoir engineering and economics enabling us to provide truly integrated studies.**Job Description**:CGG's Geology team is looking for an experienced Seismic Interpreter to work within an integrated team based at CGG's office in Villahermosa, Mexico. Working collaboratively with other specialist disciplines within CGG, the individual will play an integral part in delivering a technically excellent result to our client. The key product deliverable will include a full regional to block-scale interpretation and evaluation of both legacy 2D & 3D seismic data and new 3D seismic data leading to a risked and ranked portfolio of new prospects.The scope of work includes but is not limited to tasks such as synthetic generation, seismic-well ties, 2D and 3D seismic interpretation in a highly complex salt tectonic regime, seismic attribute extraction, stratal slicing, geobody definition & visualization, velocity modelling, depth conversion, subsurface mapping, identification of new hydrocarbon plays, detailed prospect definition, probabilistic volumetric calculations, and prospect risking. Applicants must have a solid understanding of integrating geophysical observations and results with other disciplines such as Multiphysics (gravity/magnetics), seismic processing, sequence stratigraphy, reservoir characterization, depositional facies mapping, basin modelling/petroleum systems analysis and petroleum geology. The role is based in Villahermosa, Mexico with potential to visit CGG's offices in the UK and US.**Principal Accountabilities**- Responsible for undertaking, managing, and delivering technically excellent subsurface work in line with CGG corporate standards and industry best practice- Work collaboratively and support other disciplines to guarantee that data and interpretations are delivered so that each task is completed in a timely manner.- Work closely with the Seismic Imaging group throughout data processing to ensure that geological objectives are met.- Coach / mentor peers, and junior staff regarding the effective use of geophysical tools and best-practice workflows to seismic interpretation and prospect mapping.- Collaborating closely with the client as required throughout the duration of projects.- Present findings in written reports and verbal presentations to client.- May provide training to clients in their discipline of expertise.**Technical Skills**- High level efficiency in use of Seismic Interpretation Software, preferably Landmark DecisionSpace or Petrel, and PaleoScan
