The Senior Advanced Quality Engineer (Sr AQE) is responsible for fulfilling the quality related deliverables in accordance to PRP. In addition to PRP, the Sr AQE must fulfill customer specific requirements related to quality. Overall, the Sr AQE collaborates with the cross-functional team responsible to reach customer requirements and expectations.
**Responsibilities**
- Plan, organize and implement from preventive actions in projects, in accordance with the customer requirements, general YFAI and specific Business Unit requirements.
- Communicate with customer for Quality related issues and transfer the customer requirements/information's to all SDT members
- Coordinate and lead Quality relevant activities in the program
- Update and maintain Quality relevant documents
- Participate in workgroups (e.g. FMEA, PSMC, etc.) to ensure the quality input
- Continue communication with all relevant departments (e.g. SDT, Engineering, Supplier Quality, etc.) and therefore the responsibility to coordinate corrective actions in case of product deviations
- Regular reporting of the APQP Status in the program, including customer specific reports
- Coordinate all program relevant APQP activities at the supplier base (external) executed by the Supplier Quality organization and continue communication with SDT members and Customer
- Interface Supplier Quality / SDT / Customer
- PPAP Planning (in accordance to customer requirements) and execution in Customer Portal
**Qualifications**
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineer or similar
Work Experience
- 5+ years of working experience on quality related activities in a development and/or production environment.
- 5+ years of working experience in the automotive industry, preferably interior products.
- Experience working with German/European OEM/s preferred
- Product audit experience (cubing preferably)
- MSA experience is a MUST
- Solid knowledge of quality tools (CP, PFMEA, Poka Yokes, control of non-conforming material, etc.)
- PPAP experience is a MUST
- APQP experience is a MUST (minimum of 5 years of experience preferably)
- Customer's portal experience (B2B experience will be preferred.)
