This individual will play a pivotal role in designing and engineering new buildings manufactured at our Ensenada plant.Key Responsibilities:Revit Modeling & Drafting:Create detailed architectural and construction plans using Revit for submission and manufacturing purposes.Draft residential construction details in accordance with US building standards and codes.Code Compliance & Research:Interpret and apply the International Residential Code (IRC) to all design and construction processes.Conduct research and incorporate code requirements into designs and technical documentation.Structural Coordination:Collaborate with or function as the structural engineer to develop and finalize stamped drawings for submission.MEP Design & Drafting:Design and draft mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring integration with the overall building plans.Factory Floor Collaboration:Conduct regular walkthroughs of the factory floor to verify that installations align with the drawings, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.Work closely with production teams to address discrepancies and ensure quality control.Job Summary:The Senior Architectural Engineer & Drafter will be responsible for developing precise Revit models, drafting plans for submission, and ensuring compliance with IRC and other building codes. This role requires a strong understanding of US residential construction, MEP systems, and structural design. The ideal candidate will work closely with structural engineers, factory teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of design and execution.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software.Strong knowledge of US residential construction methods, materials, and detailing.Comprehensive understanding of the International Residential Code (IRC) and the ability to apply it to designs.Experience designing and drafting MEP systems.Familiarity with structural engineering principles and processes for obtaining stamped drawings.Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.Detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong commitment to quality.#J-18808-Ljbffr
