**We are searching for the best talent for SENIOR CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN (TERCER TURNO) to be in Juárez City.
**
**Purpose**:
Performs calibration to basicdimensional equipment, as well as with pressure measuring instruments, temperature, scales, timers and tachometers with a moderate degree of difficulty.
Fills calibration service reports and enters the obtained information in the system.
The activities of this position require de direct supervision of the Senior Calibration Technician.
**If CSS Position**:This position will have responsibilities across ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Companies Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies) including a span of multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics
**You will be responsible for**:
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
**Techniques**:
- Performs calibrations to dimensional equipment using equipment such as optical comparator, vision system and/or pattern blocks.
Performs calibration to equipment which indicates pressure and temperature with a moderate degree of difficulty and by using the Standards, thermocouples and connectors indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician.
- Calibrates scales, timers and tachometers by using the standards indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician.
**Documentation**:
- Records the readings obtained in the measuring on the calibration certificates.
- Follows the calibration procedures to perform his/her tasks.
- Enters the information of the calibration certificates in the system (PILGRIM).
- Labels and identifies the equipment in which he/she performs calibration.
- Follows the Good Manufacturing Practices procedures (GMPs).
- Applies the regulations stated by the metrology international standards such as ISO 17025, Guide 25, ANSI and others.
**Organization**:
- Maintains his/her place of work clean and organized.
- Can provide technical assistance and guidance to lower level technicians.
- Provides support and follows instructions from the Calibration Senior and Principal Technicians.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
**Calificaciones**
**Requirements**:
- Technical studies: Electromechanical Technician or Instrumentalist Technician.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with measuring equipment such as optical comparator, vision systems, micrometers, verniers, pattern blocks, pressure and temperature standards, speed, time and dead weight, voltage generator, current and frequency.
- Knowledge of Mechanics and Electricity.
- Basic knowledge of Metrology International Regulations.
- Reading and interpretation of mechanical and electrical blueprints.
- Ability to read and understand English, at least 50%.
**ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS**
- Requires to work in an office environment and/or in a Controlled Manufacturing environment.
**RESPONSIBILITY FOR OTHERS (If applicable)**
- This position may report to Maintenance Engineer and/or Maintenance and Calibration Engineer.
**PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS / REQUIREMENTS**
- This position will be performed in a clean room production controlled environment and/or office areas.
- Must be capable of standing for moderate periods of time and sit on front of desk to use computer and/or ipads.
- Regular use of clean room tools, as well as office tools, necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
