If so, read on _**- We are seeking a Senior Compliance and Certification Engineer specializing in Electrical and Wireless equipment compliance and certification in Mexico. This position will also support the certification efforts in other LATAM countries._- Duties_**_:_**- _ Gains regulatory agency approvals for products by demonstrating product compliance with standards._- _ Leads the effort to gain and maintain certification status._- _ Develops and recommends compliance and standards strategies that closely align with the company's strategic product roadmap (products, geographies, and timelines)_- _ Interacts with third party accredited compliance entities to ensure Engineering and Product Verification have accurate interpretation of standards _- _Has and maintains detailed knowledge of relevant National, UL, International, Grid connection and National Electric Codes standards. Knowledge of IEC and EN standards would be an advantage._- _ Regularly communicates new standards developments and technical findings to Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Product Verification teams._- _ Assists Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Product Verification teams in clarifying technical details of relevant standards and identifies possible bias by standards testing entities._- _ Recommends improvements to existing compliance testing processes_- _ Supports success of compliance efforts by promoting early awareness of standards requirements. Contributes to the Engineering Requirements Documents as needed to ensure relevant standards are referenced._- _ Using detailed knowledge of standards and industry best practices, guides engineering and testing disciplines towards the goal of standards compliance._- _ Participate in national and international standards committees and to capture new and upcoming regulatory testing requirements._**_ Skills/Qualifications:_**- _ BS/MS in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent._- _ Recent 5+ years' experience in Compliance, Certification or testing of photovoltaic systems, Energy Storage products or power supplies._- _ Detailed and working knowledge of relevant standards
