We create enterprise value by developing strong partnerships with our colleagues and building competitive advantages through innovation, standardization and scale-up, and productivity improvements.As a Senior Consultant in the PMOaaS you will be able to be part of Strategic Projects and support the achievement/objectives of the Region.Your key responsibilities:- Support strategic business programs/projects for Novartis Group, with the aim of improving economic value and securing future driven advantage. Ensure visible communication across the divisional Strategy teams. Align closely with stakeholders at country, functional and global level as defined by the requirements of the different projects.- Support program / project managers during planning to build and manage coordinated plans across programs. Support review of dependencies and achievements at program or portfolio level and provide mentoring, monitoring and control to program team.- Support the managers and directors in project work and provide experienced consultation during all project phases. Independently supervise milestones of the projects as well as completion.- Provide mentoring on adherence to "handbooks" across program or projects. Supervising compliance with project management standards, policies, procedures, and templates by means of project audits- Risk management: Co-ordinate risk & issue activity in all relevant business areas and establish a level of control consistency. Work with key business partners, project managers and program team to identify Risk & Issues and drive the project/program managers to effectively manage those risks and issues within their own projects.- Providing high level and effective risk management practices, advice to support the decision making of both the transformation program team and its Steering Committee.- Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members on program methodologies and best practices**Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion**:- Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve._**Minimum requirements**- Bachelor's in either a Science, Engineering, or IT with and MBA.- +6 years of solid experience in Operations Management and Execution, Project Management, Major Change, Collaborating across boundaries, Global Scope- PMP/PRINCE 2 certification- English proficiencyDesirable Requirements:- Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma certifications- Experience working in Data & Digital domains, Pharma / Life Sciences industry
