You will draw, design, and develop new products with the guidance from our Design Lead to fuel innovation and protect brand identity. This role will design apparel, bags and accessories that align with line architecture, sustainability principles and fashion trends.This is a unique opportunity for an organized, creative, passionate, and enthusiastic _someone_ to be involved in a fast-growing apparel and accessory brand that seeks to break the poverty cycle of thousands of artisans while creating the most functional and cool travel products.**What You Will Do**:- Draw, design and develop new products with guidance from Design Lead that are unique, aligned with our core values, and commercially viable- Develop ideas for new products on solving the needs of our target market; based on analyzing selling, knowing the DNA of the brand, and research data.- Study the competition and research current fashion trends to determine consumers present and future needs- Support PD team to test and decide on fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures for each design- Support product development (PD) team to create product patterns for manufacturing at scale- Develop and maintain strong relationship with artisanal designers for increased handcraft integration and improvement of product quality- Time & action calendar management- Partner with cross functional teams from product design concepts to commercialization of product- Guide the team in the overall direction and methodology behind the work and ensure it meets our brand standards and guidelines**Who You Are**:- Superior knowledge of fashion design principles- Excellent creativity with a good sense of fashion and style- Knowledge of garment, bag, and accessory technology- Previous experience in fashion company and knowledge within global fashion industry- Experience in fashion product development from design concept to commercialization of product- Master's degree in fashion design preferred
