.Senior Financial Planning AnalystThe Role:We are looking for a passionate, intellectually curious, and talented Financial Planning Analyst (our first!) who has experience providing both tactical and strategic support cross-functionally. While you will technically "live" within the finance department, you will also support operations, product management, and sales as an analytical thought partner.This role will report directly to the CFO and will also actively support the Vice Chairman in various initiatives. You will generate reports (largely in Excel) and maintain KPI dashboards (largely in Domo) that will be used and referenced across the organization.You will facilitate customer cohort analyses, provide modeling support for service/product pricing, and proactively utilize data and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement or savings in the business.You live for telling compelling data-based stories and driving decisions, and will work side-by-side with managers and ICs that do the same. This role is a key addition to the team and necessary to the successful growth of Showroom. It is an excellent opportunity to get exposure across various levels of management, functional areas, and external stakeholders as well (e.G. vendor partners, supply chain partners, investors and board members).**Responsibilities**:**Partner with the CFO to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets, tracking them against actual performance, and delivering insights to management. ** Support the wider organization with regular financial reporting, metrics and analyses, as well as ad-hoc financial analyses and projects.**Own the creation and tracking of the Weekly Business Review process and dashboard - which monitors select KPIs that measure the health of the overall business and allows management fast feedback loops to enable proactive business responses.**Maintain the company's financial operating model.**Build complex Excel models that support the implementation, execution, and progress of innovative and strategic decisions - across both organic and inorganic growth vectors.**Improve financial insights by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.Your background likely includes:**Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.**1-3 years public and/or high growth startup - FP&A or Corporate Finance role.**Ability to frame analysis in a way that goes beyond the numbers - including analyzing trends, identifying insights, and presenting recommendations to senior executives to drive strategic direction.**Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses.**Excellent communication and people skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, highgrowth company.****Proven ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and are seen as a trusted advisor
