Job Overview:
Invitro Capital is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer with specialized skills in React. In this role, you will take charge of designing, developing, and optimizing user-centric and high-performance web applications. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will convert business requirements into robust, scalable, and responsive frontend architectures. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and significantly impact the growth and success of our portfolio companies.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Pacific Time Zone
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing web applications using React and related technologies, ensuring their responsiveness and user-friendliness.
- Collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and functional interfaces.
- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Working closely with backend engineers to seamlessly integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
- Implementing and maintaining automated testing and code quality tools to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications.
- Assisting in the troubleshooting and resolution of any bugs and performance issues that may arise.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development to continuously enhance your skills and contribute innovative ideas.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other related web technologies.
- Extensive hands-on experience with React and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, etc.).
- Sound understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Prior exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with frontend performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of backend technologies and frameworks (e.g., Python, Django).
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) and test-driven development (TDD).
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma).
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
