As Senior Manager S&T Research you will initiate, directing, and supporting development of new technologies and managing a team of technical experts (around 50 people), responsible for carrying out the work for our products and processes.
You will report to Regional Technical Director Architectural Coatings.
You will work at the Polymer Research Center site.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, direct, and lead teams manage multiple technical projects.
These teams will manage the development of new products or technology to support team goals.
- You will ensure the technology transfer from the R&D facilities to plant sites.
- Provide team-beneficial support to other team functions outside of R&D.
- You will have demonstrated that teams that pursue solutions for recognized technical problems and who to identify future problem areas or opportunities for profit improvement.
- Create and Lead strategic new ideas for solving business and global organization problems.
- To the entire organization and achieves agreement on expectations, strategy, and priorities.
- By accomplishing strategic plans, mobilizing resources, and motivating and engaging people.
- Contribute to cross-business unit projects.
- Foster a culture of innovation.
- Promote safe operating procedures/behaviors in peers and team members.
- Seek safe operating information for major changes or unfamiliar lab operations.
- Assure completion of business critical tasks within time and budget constraints.
**Qualifications**
- PhD in areas related to science (chemistry, chemical engineering) with at least 10 years of experience or Master Degree with at least 15 years of experience coordinating R&D projects.
- Experience leading R&D projects with diverse teams with proved results.
- Solid Experience in R&D Strategy Management.
- Knowlegde of environmental regulation in resins/emulsions and coatings areas.
- Innovation capacities and IP generation.
- Fluent English.
