As part of its separation from Carrier, the Commercial and Residential Fire business is building its HR team to support the standalone business. This presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated and strategic thinker to assume the Compensation Benefits lead role in the Americas. This individual will have the opportunity to delve into all manners of total rewards for a multi-national company and creating true value for the company.
This role represents the opportunity to help build and shape the future of our HR team and employee programs. This person will work with all members of the HR team and help solve issues to create true value for the company and our employees.
In support of our dynamic and diverse organization, we are seeking an experienced Total Rewards professional. Reporting to the Global Total Rewards Leader, this role is responsible for developing and executing the long-term benefits strategy for Mexico, Brazil and other countries.

**Specific responsibilities include**:
- Partnering with benefits vendors, brokers and the market intelligence team, understand the benefits landscape by country and design a market competitive, harmonized benefits offering by country. Continually monitor the benefits landscape to make design recommendations by country, taking into account market position, financial impacts and support of overall business strategy.
- Working with HR business partners, Finance, and the Global Benefits COE to create a long-term strategy to simplify benefits programs into a harmonized, market-competitive benefits offering by country. Evaluate current plan performance and costs, including risks and opportunities.
- Consistently gather customer feedback and review Communities of Expertise (COE) Benefits processes to improve, automate and augment the quality, accuracy and value of the services and information provided.
- Working with vendors and brokers, ensure that benefits offerings are delivered to employees in a consistent, timely and compliant fashion.
- Partnering with our Global People Services organization, ensure that open enrollment and other employee facing processes are streamlined and employee-friendly, while providing accurate outcomes for our benefits vendors. Additionally, this role with continuously look for opportunities to simplify and automate routine processes.
- Developing and implementing effective benefits communications strategy in partnership with our Global People Services and HR Business Partner teams.
- Managing vendor relationships with our benefits partners across Mexico, Brazil, Chile & Argentina, in coordination with our Global Benefits COE
- Support merger and acquisition initiatives with leadership, HR business partners and various stakeholders for a successful integration and transition of benefits.
- Ensuring that the design of benefits are compliant with country requirements.
**Job requirements**:
BS in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred
8+ years of HR/benefits experience with demonstrated competence in the management of benefits across the Americas region, in particular Mexico and Brazil.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex project plans with multiple stakeholders
Excellent analytical and organization skills with proven ability to make informed, data-driven decisions
Demonstrated ability to interface across all levels of the organization including executive leadership
Able to communicate verbally and in written formats in both English and Spanish
Strong project management skills and an ability to lead change management activities
Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
Expertise with Workday
