Interacts with the departments of purchasing, production, engineering, master planning, quality, etc.
to expedite certain activities that could place the production program under risk.Analyzes and monitors the inventory levels to comply with the goals established in the business plans, as well as to avoid expired and obsolete surplus material.Maintains wide communication with planners/buyers of sibling plants, approves and coordinates the shipment of material to other plants when necessary.Interacts with engineering to provide support with production orders of evaluations/validations that are necessary for his/her area.Participates in the process of developing production programs to provide support to the launching of new products.Maintains Business indicators updated (Scorecards, Metrics, Inventory charts).Performs necessary administrative tasks, including the preparation of information for reports.Provides help and acts as a guide for less experienced planners.Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.Supports backing up activities to the Team when required
