Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Senior Production Supervisor.
What you'll do:Basic function:
Manage operations resources and facilitate the provision of the necessary tools to meet production requirements to achieve absorption and productivity goals. Promote safety and quality with direct reports as well as Eaton initiatives to foster an open environment for clear communication.
Main responsibilities and authority: Execute manning strategy according to plan of headcount required from SIOP and calculated by Engineering. Review build plan to ensure on-time delivery to avoid impact to our customers.Establish strategy to ensure all personnel fulfill their training Plan as well as everyone is following metrics such as safety, quality, TPM, etc.Create multifunction direct personnel by training and maintaining the set of skills and knowledge to create flexibility and meet productivity goals.Create a robust and strong BOC among departments to have support from all functions to ensure availability is at 85% or greater.Able to communicate and convey messages with personnel – also necessary to have skills to communicate at all levels of the organization.Monitor the HBH board with multifunctional team. Generate action when results are not met identifying potential root cause and implementing a systemic action to prevent recurrence. Ensure escalation plan is followed to maintain clear communication with plant leadership team.Review and Analyze production performance to identify opportunities and lead improvement projects using ELSS Tools (5s, VSM, 5w) including A3s, RIE´s or Kaizen level 2.Ensure the execution of the non-conforming material management process consistently with all personnel reporting on daily basis.Participate in Fast Response, OEE Meeting, etc., and implement defined actions.Ensure all employees are following and executing all process requirements (LVS, QFC, LPA, TPM, Digital WI, 5s, etc.).Ensure and maintain discipline according to the internal labor regulations.Ensure compliance with Over Time policy, MRO budget and SCRAP policy.Qualifications:Education level required: Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related degree.Years and area of experience required: Minimum experience of 3 years as Production Supervisor.Skills:Technical competencies:
Desired knowledge of quality systems IATF 16949.
Desired knowledge of national and local safety and environmental standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
Broad knowledge of Eaton's enterprise system (EBS: Eaton Business System), Eaton's Lean System (ELS: Eaton Lean System), 5S and appropriate quality systems.
Bilingual in Spanish and English - leading communication forums.
