Senior Project Manager (Mining Industry)

Purpose Manage capital projects to the scope, schedule, cost and quality with a key focus on the safety.

Efficiently execute projects complying to PMO processes, standards, templates and guidelines.

Responsibilities Manage a project definition phase that meets the business executivesâeuros? expectation for addressing a problem/opportunity that could entail a significant capital investment.

Build a project team of internal and external resources that delivers safe, effective and capital efficient design and procurement throughout the project Ensure that contract construction firm(s) and managers employ world class safety methods while meeting the cost and schedulecommitments of the project Implement world-class cost, schedule and forecasting tools to ensure project delivery on-time and within budget Deliver regular communication to functional and business stakeholders with content tailored to the audiencesâeuros? technical skill and interest in detail Accomplish the PMO goal âeuros?to become a world class execution teamâeuros Requirements 10 years direct engagement in capital project execution in the chemical / mining& beneficiation industry Leadership of multiple capital project ($10M Employment within the chemical / mining & beneficiation industry Project Management, PMI Construction safety management Hazops/PSSR/OPV Capital Project estimating Earned Value Management Value Engineering English Advanced
