**As the Sr. Quality Engineer, YOU WILL:
- Support adequate responses to Major and Critical Customer Quality incidents.
- Work closely with the Quality teams at our different locations : Chihuahua, Juarez and Guadalajara, with our DC in El Paso (TX).
- Perform basic statistical analyses as required, related to Warranty.
- Analyze and publish specific monthly and quarterly reports related to Warranty performance.
- Coordinate meetings with Customers and provide updates on Major and Critical incidents.
- Create and coordinate Quality process improvement initiatives as described in the Electronics and Controls Strategy Plan. Travel up to 25%
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
- Technical background with a Bachelor of Science, preferably in Electronics or Electromechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years as a Warranty Engineer in a manufacturing facility, under an ISO9001 environment.
- At least 3 years interacting directly with Customers and addressing Customer Quality complains.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified with significant experience using Six Sigma tools
- Knowledge in the use of 8D Problem Solving Methodology.
- Advanced experience with Excel, Power Point, Visio, Mini-tab software or other equivalent statistical tool and in-depth knowledge of statistical techniques used in Quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze problems, create solutions, and multi-task with strong attention to detail.
- A self-motivator who works as a team player and can motivate personnel.
- Must have the ability to interact effectively at multiple levels and functions.
- Demonstrates effective follow-up, self-confidence, and strong relationship building skills. Demonstrates effective time management.
**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
- Technical knowledge of Electronics and Controls products
- Experience using Oracle, or similar ERP's and EtQ
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certified Lean Champion Certified
