For over 85 years, we have pioneered significant medical innovations that transform healthcare!Your roleAs a Sr Finance Analyst, you will provide vital data for the development of quarterly financial forecasts and the annual budget. Additionally, you will build reports and presentations, as well as cost analyses aimed at reporting cost savings (VIP and TCO) for the Monterrey and Cary sites. You will be responsible for the timely compliance with local and federal accounting and tax obligations, as well as corporate requirements for the assigned legal entity(s), through the preparation, calculation, review, completion, presentation, and submission of financial documents, statements, financial or tax reports, and tax returns.What you'll be doing:Drive the implementation of the ethics and compliance program and prevent, detect, and correct violations of the law, Baxter's policies, and code of conduct.Identify accounting-tax compliance risks in the country/cluster.Resolve and present the monthly and annual taxes that correspond to the assigned companies (ISR, Withholdings).Build, present, and follow up on Compensations, Refunds, and any other procedures vital for the operation of the companies (FIEL, CEC, Certificates, etc.)Ensure compliance in a timely manner with corporate obligations in tax matters.What you'll bring:Bachelor's degree in Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven track record in the tax area of legal entities for at least 4 years and accounting-tax area within pharmaceutical companies.Experience in an accounting firm is desirable.Outstanding written and verbal skills in both English and Spanish.Proficiency in accounting, legal, and auditing procedures.Management of Mexican tax regulation.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment.Equal Employment OpportunityBaxter is an equal opportunity employer
