.**A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)**:On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for managing the cost-effective supply of materials & services in line with company processes based on customer requirements, while maintaining quality and on-time delivery standards. Internally, you will provide excellent detail-oriented customer service to our Order Winning, Operations, Project Management, Engineering and Finance teams.**How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)**- .- Purchase order management, including tracking/expediting to ensure a cost-efficient supply of materials in line with demand.- Support Order Winning enquiries in an efficient manner.- Coordinate with suppliers to meet operational/customer requirements and ensure clear communication & escalation of risks to relevant stakeholders.- Develop relationships with key suppliers.- Monitor supplier delivery, invoices, invoice inquiries, quality performance and address performance issues with suppliers as necessary.- Demonstrate strong customer focus by handling requests in a timely manner & to a high standard.- Communicate efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.- Actively seek process optimization and improvement opportunities in relevant areas (e.G. MoQ optimization, bundling of purchase orders, etc.)- Proactively prevent and manage quality defects with each supplier.- Comply with Company policies at all times, for example, Business Conduct Guidelines and Confidential Information.**What You Bring (requirements)**- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain.- A minimum of 8 years of experience required within Procurement & Supply Chain.- Excellent written and oral communication skills.- Skilled in Microsoft office products (Power Point, Word and Excel).- Experience with SAP is desirable.- Must be customer focused and a collaborative team player.- Possess the ability to assess priorities, demonstrate flexibility and understand sense of urgency.- Self-motivated, detail oriented, demonstrate problem solving abilities, decision-making, and continuous improvement skills.**About the Team****Who is Siemens Energy?**At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
