**Title**: Shipping Analyst - Torreon**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila Motores JD-Torreon**Function**: Supply Management / Logistics**Main Responsibilities**:- Perform the shipping process of engines, axles and service parts, which consists of locating the product that needs to be shipped, configure the load according to the different destinations of each product, audit the load for inventory accuracy and customs clearance, and place C-TPAT seal to the trailer, issue the paperwork required for a smooth customs clearance.
These activities are performed with the help of a group of technicians.- This position requires constant communication with production planning in order to make sure all priorities are shipped based on the required urgency of the customer.- Finished goods inventory accuracy is critical to the operation, since this is the only way to comply with inventory and revenue.- Shipping analyst also plays an important role in the warehouse holds declared by our quality group, in order not to ship product out of spec to our customers.- Shipping analyst is in charge of meeting the finished product inventory goal at the end of the fiscal month.- This position is also responsible of the safety of wage personnel that operates forklift trucks to unload product from final assembly process to the shipping floor and then to the empty trailers.
This is a key position to our on time delivery metric**What Skills You Need**:- Some experience in inventory management for finished product and service parts in the areas which are responsibility of the shipping dept.- Understanding Compliance with the order / build to demand.- Understanding Plan supply / demand synchronization plan.- Knowledge in Value Stream Mapping (VSM).- Interpersonal relations and leadership skills.- Negotiation and conflict resolution.- English 80% (spoken and written).
**What Makes You Stand Out**:- Flow manufacturing experience/Material planning techniques.- Knowledge of SAP, AMES, MS Office- Knowledge of logistics, import and export process.- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.- C-TPAT/OEA certification requirements- Hazardous Materials training or certification.
**Education**:- Bachelor´s degree related Industrial Engineering, Logistics or similar.
