**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Manage the daily shipping operations of the company, including coordinating shipments, preparing orders for shipment, and verifying accuracy of shipments.- Supervise shipping team members, including data entry auxiliar, and forklift operators, etc. ensuring efficient and safe performance of their duties.- Ensure all shipping processes are in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant laws and regulations.- Train and supervise shipping team members, ensuring that they are performing their duties efficiently and safely.- Monitor and manage the inventory of shipping supplies, including boxes, tape, labels, and other materials needed for shipping.- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the shipping area, including ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.- Work with other departments within the company to ensure that all orders are shipped on time and in full, and to resolve any issues that may arise.- Develop and implement new procedures and processes to improve the efficiency of the shipping operations.- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, including tracking numbers, shipment weights, and delivery times.Prepare reports on shipping activities, including volume of shipments, delivery times, and any issues that may arise**QUALIFICATIONS**- 4-8 years of experience- Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role, including supervisory experience.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.- Ability to work effectively with a team and manage diverse personnel.- Knowledge of shipping procedures and regulations.- Proficiency in record-keeping and report preparation.Experience with shipping equipment and safety protocols.**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting
