Purpose Statement: Responsible for supervising and managing activities directly related to the daily business and department needs. This position requires limited supervision and is also required to exercise moderate discretion and independent judgment. Provide immediate supervision of the department team, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Responsible for managing a high level of inventory accuracy for the manufacturing site, ensure schedules are met. Inventory handlers in all areas of responsibility are efficient and effective, and meet SOP, WI, site, and corporate requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining acceptable inventory control metrics in areas assigned.
- Lead the identification and propagation of best practices being shared across functional area.
- Supervise assigned team in the delivery of effective day-to-day operations. Build individual and team capability through the completion of performance assessments, employee development plans and training.
- Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of related experience is required; Three (3) or more years of related experience is preferred.
Other Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills. Responsible to ensure daily store operations adhere to company policies and operating standards.
- Computer literacy. Able to lead a group of store member for 20 headcount and work on shift basis.
Physical Requirements:
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
