KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 3 year of experience in resolution of employee relation issues. industry experience a plus.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, employee and union relations, performance management, and employment laws.
Experience in consulting skills in labor relations Experience in conflict management skills.
Experience in interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bilingual English-Spanish preferable
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze labor relations internal trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to help develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manage and resolve employee relations issues.
Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
High involvement in the operation with production employees, group leaders and supervisors
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular governance with supervisors or group leader
Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Works closely with supervision and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs.
Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
Experience actively in the employee measurement environment
Experience managing resignation process
Comply with safety rules according to the function.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
