We're looking for someone who can roll up his or her sleeves to support numerous internal and change initiatives as we continue to build an independent company. The right person has the energy, enthusiasm and resiliency to lead and work inside one of the world's oldest startup companies.Need for program management leadershipThis role will work closely with the VP, Comms; regional communicationsleaders; and members of the global HR team to surface examples of how people are living the company's new mission statement and values. These examples will be shared internally with employees and will become the foundation for ongoing social activities and the company's new employee ambassador program.Strategic Focus Areas- Lead Global Communications Council- Organize and lead Quarterly Marketing Council Meetings- Manage and coordinate global thought leadership opportunities- Establish a global Marketing Communications Calendar- Manage performance metrics for communications programs and opportunities- Coordinate internal communications activities with regional communications leaders to create a cohesive and clear top-level narrative for employees- Develop and lead a global employee ambassador program- Lead efforts to modernize hourly employee communications with regional teams. Activities may include deployment of Yammer, texting communications tools, and facility-based campaigns- Oversee internal content development to enhance employee pride in company and to connect people with our mission, values and strategy.- Close collaboration with the Dir, External Communications especially around social media and through leadership programs- In partnership with HR, develop internal metrics to measure employee sentiment and engagement- Plan, staff and lead quarterly global town hall meetings with CEO and Executive Leadership Team- Manage the company's global impact award program and annual award celebration activitiesSkills, experience and requirements:- Successful, demonstrated track record of working with senior leaders and or functions to help achieve business goals and results.- Critical thinker capable of synthesizing complex ideas and creating audience-relevant strategies
